Nationally certified Master Photographer Joe Lam has created a unique approach to wedding photography. His photojournalistic style creates a relaxed atmosphere, enabling couples to achieve a product that is reflective of the emotional highs of the most important day of their lives.

Joe began his photography career in 1989 as a traditional wedding photographer.

With the client’s high demand for black and white photographs and Joe’s desire to give each client something fresh and unique he was quickly led into the areas of illustrative, creative and photojournalistic wedding photography.

Because of his roots in traditional photography and his exceptional flare for contemporary photojournalism, each client can be assured that his knowledge is vast and rounded. Joe’s clients experience the training and wisdom of three photographers in one. He knows exactly how to discern when to break from his photojournalistic approach and give mom and dad their smile at the camera.

Since his career began, Joe has received many local, state, and national awards and has also worked exceptionally hard at becoming what most professional photographers strive to achieve, but only a handful ever become, a Master.
